Our book series, Write
from the Heart, is a collection of stories written
by LVA learners.
The stories printed here
represent countless hours of hard work.
For some of our learners,
their stories are the result of months of practice,
classes and meetings with tutors, and the endless studying
of new words.
For others, this book is
the product of a lifetime spent gathering the courage
to ask for help.
The stories and poems collected
here have not been edited for spelling, grammar, or
punctuation. Please read them for their meaning and
with an understanding of the care and effort behind
each word.
For our students, this
collection is truly a labor of love. This book is dedicated
to them.
